General policy:

  1. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking for all treatments and the balance must be paid for at the end of each visit to Swani Spa. These payments may be made in cash or by credit card. No accounts will be held for clients, including Swani Spa members.
  2. Booking in advance is recommended. We will do our best to fit you in on the spot but please keep in mind that this is not always possible due to therapist availability and/or available treatment slots. All of our clients are important to us and we will not give up a booking of one client for another.
  3. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your treatment. Late arrival will result in a reduction of treatment time.
  4. It is the responsibility of the client to update Swani Spa of any changes in personal contact details.
  5. All prices and information are subject to revision without prior notice.
  6. Products purchased are not refundable unless valid proof and reasoning is provided.
  7. Swani Spa and its constituents will not be held responsible for any theft, damage, loss or misfortune that may occur while on the spa premises.
  8. All spa facilities are used at your own risk. It is your responsibility to alert your therapist of any medical conditions that may impact your safety or the efficacy of the service, such as:
    1. a.High blood pressure
    2. b.Any Heart condition
    3. c.Recent surgery
    4. d.Muscle or joint injuries
    5. e.Sinusitis
    6. f.Allergy to Iodine, sulphur or product allergies
    7. g.Pregnancy
    8. h.Epilepsy
    9. i.Diabetes
    10. j.Eczema or Psoriasis
    11. k.Sunburn
    12. l.Medication you are currently taking
    13. 9.Our therapists work hard to offer you a great service so if you would like to express your gratitude or appreciation for your therapist, it will greatly appreciated. The recommended rate is 15 – 20% of your service price.

Cancellation policy:

  • A 12-hour cancellation notice is appreciated in order to help us reschedule your appointment. Your 50% deposit will be credited towards your rescheduled booking, as long as it is made within 30 days from the first missed appointment.

Swani Spa Gift Vouchers Policy

  1. The value of all Swani Spa Vouchers (the “Spa Vouchers”) are denominated in South African Rands (ZAR).
  2. All Gift Vouchers are issued by Swani Spa (Pty) Ltd.
  3. Gift Vouchers shall be valid for one (1) year from the date of issue and thereafter, any unutilized value in any Spa Voucher shall be invalid. For clarification, all Spa Vouchers issued and/or dated more than a year ago are invalid for any purpose.
  4. The Management shall not be liable for any refund, issue compensation or be responsible for the non-usage of any Spa Vouchers.
  5. No extension or renewal of the validity of the Spa Vouchers shall be permitted.
  6. Gift Vouchers may be redeemed for spa treatments and may be used in conjunction with the applicable membership discount on presentation of the Gift Vouchers together with proof of membership at the time of payment.
  7. All spa treatments shall be subject to the applicable government taxes and prevailing service charges. The amount of such taxes and charges are included in the value of the Spa Vouchers.
  8. Gift Vouchers are not refundable or exchangeable for cash.
  9. Upon the use of the Gift Vouchers at the Spa Facility, the Gift Vouchers shall be retained by the Management, unless an unutilised balance remains on the Gift Voucher in which case, the client will keep the Gift Voucher and can use the remaining balance at a time of their choosing. No change will be given for under-utilization.
  10. The client shall be required to pay for any shortfall of any amount payable and due if the charges for spa treatments exceed the value of the Gift Vouchers.
  11. The Management reserves the sole right and discretion to amend, vary or revise the terms and conditions connected with the Gift Vouchers at any time without notice.
